In this immersive workshop, you’ll learn to craft Tang Guozi (唐果子), a traditional Chinese pastry inspired by ancient recipes and royal aesthetics. From shaping lotus flowers to painting gold leaf details, this is more than a cooking class—it’s a sweet journey through time.

Held in a serene tea house or traditional courtyard in Xi’an or Chengdu, this hands-on experience lets you connect with China’s imperial past while creating edible art you can take home or enjoy with a cup of tea.

🚖 By Taxi / Ride-hailing

• Please navigate to “Tang Music Palace (唐乐宫)” at No. 75 Chang’an North Road (长安北路75号).

• The experience is located in the 1st floor lobby of the main theater building, known for its grand Tang-style architecture.

• Show your driver: “唐乐宫仿唐歌舞剧院” or present the full address in Chinese.

🚇 By Metro

• Take Xi’an Metro Line 2 and get off at Nanshaomen Station (南稍门站).

• Use Exit A, then walk north along Chang’an North Road for about 600 meters (approx. 8–10 minutes).

• Tang Music Palace will be on your right-hand side.

• You’ll enter through the main lobby of the theater — the pastry experience area is located on the ground floor.

• Navigate to “Tang Music Palace” or “唐乐宫停车场”.

• There is a parking area available for visitors directly next to the theater.

• After parking, enter through the main entrance, and proceed to the 1st floor lobby.
